Levi, Add your message about school and stuff here :)
Some of our favorite family activities are: traveling, biking, hiking, four wheeling, boating, water and snow skiing, playing at the park, watching movies, and the list goes on and on. We also love to play board games, Friday night has somehow become known as Game Night at our house. On any given Friday night we will have some of my brothers and sisters, some of Levi’s family, and some of our friends and neighbors. We love to play games like Monopoly, Ticket to Ride, Phase Ten, XBOX 360, Wii, etc. Somehow our house has become the gathering spot and we love the opportunity to spend time with our family and friends. Sometimes we have so much fun on Friday night that we do it again on Saturday night too.
We really love the outdoors. One of our favorite places to ride our ATV’s is in Island Park, Idaho. There is a trail that used to be the old railroad that went into Yellowstone National Park. The forest service has since turned it into an ATV trail and the scenery is breathtaking. We also love to spend weekends and holidays at our family’s property in Southern Utah. We ride our ATV’s through the mountains near Brian Head and Cedar Breaks which also offer beautiful views. Another one of our favorite family pastimes is boating, we love to go up to one of the reservoirs and spend a day on the water tubing, water skiing, wake boarding, and swimming. We also enjoy taking family bike rides. We are fortunate to live near the Legacy Parkway trail so we can take long relaxing rides together.
Did we mention that we love to travel? One of our favorite places to spend time is Southern California. For our senior trip Kris, myself, my family, and some of our high school friends went to Disneyland. We also went there on our honeymoon. I think that is when the tradition began. We have annual passes and we have gone nearly three or four times a year since we got married. My favorite ride is Pirates of the Caribbean. Kristalee's favorite ride is Splash Mountain.
For our five-year anniversary we went to Argentina so I could show Kris where I served my mission. We also went to Iquazu Falls which is on the border of Argentina and Brazil. Iguazu Falls is one of the most beautiful places we have ever been. For Kris's 28th birthday I took to Kris to Hawaii. We spent three days seeing the sights on the island of Oahu and then we went over to the island of Kauai. Kauai is also known as the garden island in it too is one of the most beautiful places that we have ever been.
We have been blessed with a wonderful daughter named Abbie who is 5 years old. She is a very tender- hearted little girl and she loves people. She is also very energetic and full of life. She is currently enjoying \ dance, swim lessons, and pre-school. Abbie loves to spend time with her family and friends. Abbie has many cousins who she absolutely adores. She tells us everyday that she can’t wait to have a little sister or a little brother.
When Abbie turned 6 months old we decided it was time to introduce her to Disneyland, we bought her a stuffed Winnie the Pooh bear which she continues to adore to this day. Naturally, Abbie’s favorite ride at Disneyland is the Winnie the Pooh ride. One of our favorite daily activities with Abbie is when she comes and climbs in to bed with us early in the morning when she wants us to wake up. She really is a sweet heart and she is going to be a wonderful big sister. We have been teaching her how adoption works and she thinks that birth-parents are the coolest people ever. We can’t help but agree!
